Project Manager Niklas Schillings and Senior Project Manager Andreas Vogel sat down with Celine for a coffee and asked her questions about her time and work as a teamer at TAKE A LOOK Events & Incentives.
ANDREAS: Celine, what are your tasks as a teamer at TAKE A LOOK?
The tasks as a teamer are quite versatile. On the one hand we take care of the preparation and follow-up of the teambuilding events on site. On the other hand we act as contact persons for any questions. Our main task, however, is to look after and support the guests during the various teambuilding activities. We always make sure that everyone is integrated into the team, brings in his or her individual strengths and that a real sense of togetherness arise.
NIKLAS: What do you enjoy most about your job as a teamer?
Dealing with so many different people. It’s great to get to know new and interesting characters and when I see that the customers have a lot of fun, it motivates me even more. In addition, we organize so many exciting teambuilding events at so many different locations, that it always remains exciting.
ANDREAS: What do you think should be brought along for the job as a teamer?
In my opinion, the most important thing is that you enjoy dealing with other people and are not afraid to approach them. Openness, fun in communication and a cheerful nature in general are in any case the best prerequisites.
NIKLAS: What’s your background?
Originally I come from Münster, where I also went to school. I started dancing and acrobatics in primary school until I discovered my passion for football. I am an enthusiastic football player and with my current club I have even promoted to the Westfalenliga. Apart from that I study sports management and communication at the University in Cologne.
ANDREAS: Are you a city kid or country girl?
In fact, I’d describe myself more as a country girl because I feel much more comfortable when it’s green around me. In a big city like Cologne there are usually just too many people. That’s why I find it so great to work for TAKE A LOOK. Many of the teambuilding events take place outside in nature, such as our teambuilding event in the vineyard or on the moated castle. Above all, our more action-packed events such as the dragon boat races always offer me the perfect balance to the city life in Cologne.
